Research has been of great value for human kind. It has expanded the knowledge and has made our lives easier. Research has its purposes for different fields, and we are here to discuss its benefits when it comes to economics, and business. 

Research pertains to the ever expanding questions we have in our society, and how we can solve them. We use statistical methods, or making theories on how we can make the society better. Quantitative research uses statistical methods, and will always have close-ended question; it will always have an answer that will not open to any other questions. While qualitative research uses a more theoretical approach, and uses documents that are verbal such as interviews or immersion in a culturally diverse society. In business and economics, we use both research in different sectors of business and economics; but today we are going to discuss how qualitative research is being used in those sectors.

Qualitative research is used in business when it comes to strategic planning. It concerns customer's opinions, comments, and suggestions for a certain product or service. The research oversees the business rather than overseeing and predicting the future outcome of the business. It questions the "how" and "why" in a long term position; especially for new products or service.

I am writing this blog as if I know anything about research, and I am still learning a lot from my teachers you know. Research will always be important not only for me and my future, but also for a future company I will work on with my friends. Knowing the difference between these research will really help me to deepen my understanding on my future business and work. "It's a hard knock life for us," cause life will never be easy, so when you work hard and have a more meaningful life you will prosper. Research is not easy I can tell you that, but it is helpful for everyone; hence let us just appreciate it.
